👉 Goal: Have fun and find the treasure!
Goal of the treasure hunt is to have fun and find the treasure!
How to Play
Start at Clue #1 on the Google Map (locations are spread around Sanders Corner Elementary).
Read the clue at the starting spot. It will point you toward where the medallion is hidden.
Medallions may not be right at the spot — you may need to look nearby.
If it takes more than 20 minutes, move on and circle back later.
Write down the number and letter from each marker. This is essential.
Tip: Some markers may be hard to reach. Use binoculars or zoom with your phone.
Put each marker back exactly where you found it.
Continue through all 5 clue locations.
Unlock the final treasure map at pack1154.org/treasure.
Find the treasure box, use the combination, read the letter inside, and take a doubloon and treasure chip (one per Scout/sibling).
Other Important stuff:
Make sure you leave each Treasure Hunt Marker so others can find them.
Markers are no further than 200 yards from the clue starting spot. Often it's what you can see that explains the clue.
